JASON ALDEAN'S SOPHOMORE ALBUM IS ON FIRE ....LITERALLY!
"Johnny Cash" Video Filmed In Las Vegas This Week
NASHVILLE, TN - Feb. 16, 2007 - Rising country music star Jason Aldean
almost lost his second album this week when Treasure Isle studio in Berry
Hill burned to the ground.
"If the fire had spread even four more feet, we would have lost everything
and had to start completely over," said producer Michael Knox. "We are
still mixing the album and now we're working in the middle of smoldering ash
to get this thing finished. I've been joking that this album is hotter
than anything else in town right now!"
Aldean was in Las Vegas filming the video for the lead single "Johnny Cash"
with director Wes Edwards (Ruckus Films) at the time. The single is
already receiving an overwhelming response from country radio with an
official add date not set for two more weeks and an album release
tentatively scheduled for second quarter 2007.
